The Original Speechies.com
The earlier Speechies.com was built on FUEL CMS — a CodeIgniter-based content management system. It featured the Chronological Age Calculator iPhone app and the Oral Peripheral Examination assessment binder, alongside descriptions of the clinical services Chelsea Bennett provides as a speech-language pathologist. The products and brand voice you see on today's site trace directly back to that original site.
Today (2026)
Today's Speechies.app is a rebuild on a lightweight PHP front controller — no CMS, no admin overhead, just static-fast page rendering for the product pages and a few interactive tools. The Age Calculator was also rebuilt this year as version 5 with cross-platform iOS, Mac, and Apple Vision support; the calculation engine is unit-tested against 33 vectors that match the Pearson borrow-30 method used by major standardized assessments.
The Archive
The original FUEL CMS site source was recovered from the Drobo NAS during the 2026 Age Calculator rebuild — 3,566 files, 63 MB — and kept as a local archive. It's not deployed anywhere public.
